What we're doing to reduce our environmental impact

We believe that doing good is just good business

At Lauren Holloway we're passionate about our planet, that why we try to make our carbon-footprint as small as possible. Not only that but we strive to work with other companies who share the same goals and values as we do. Here we talk about the ways inwhich we're trying to make a positive difference to our planet.

It's leather, but not as we know it

Recycling more, wasting less

Did you know that up to 75% of traditional leather is often unused?

That's a huge amount of waste contributing to landfill. Now imagine if you could take all those offcuts of leather and turn them into a new, sustainable product which was durable and had the look and feel of real leather. That's exactly what Eleather Group have done, the UK's leading company behind sustainable leather alternatives. Not only this but they recycle 95% off the process water and waste streams are converted into energy which is fed back into the system. We think that's pretty impressive.

So it made sense for us to make an everyday product with this pioneering material

So when you buy one of our recycled leather products you'll know that the leather has been manufactured from 1000's of tons of waste leather bound for landfill and in effect you've helped save more leather waste from ending up polluting our precious planet.

Not only that but our manufacturers are UK-based meaning an even more positive environmental impact by reducing our carbon-footprint and supporting local businesses.
