Kids Sewing Workshops & Courses

Lauren has experience teaching machine sewing skills to children from 8 years old in both group and one-to-one settings in and around Bristol. She offers a variety of options for teaching your child or teen how to use a sewing machine and feel confident creating their own projects. Most of the classes are held at her studio, Creative Space, based in Staple Hill and New Brewery Arts in Cirencester.
Beginner Machine Sewing
Lauren teaches sewing workshops for children from 9 years and upwards during half terms, Easter and summer holidays. The full day Beginner Machine Sewing course at Creative Space in Staple Hill is the perfect introduction to using a sewing machine and your child will create 2 projects to take home. Lauren also runs a a variety of intermediate workshops throughout the year which are great follow on for your child to improve their skills.

Private sewing tuition for kids
Private tuition makes a wonderful gift for a birthday and your child will leave with a lovely handmade item to cherish along with new sewing skills they can develop further if they wish. Enjoy the experience together or drop your child off for the duration of the class. Lauren's private classes are held at Creative Space in Staple Hill and rates start from £30 p/h.
