Pekka Jacket Dressmaking Course

Improve your existing machine sewing skills on this 3 week Pekka jacket dressmaking course. Inspired by traditional Japanese clothing, the Pekka is an oversized mid-season jacket with wide armholes and a simplified lining. Its slightly cropped sleeves and generously sized pockets make it a stylish choice for layering. This is a versatile jacket which can be adapted to suit a variety of seasons.
During the course you will learn how to cut your pattern pieces from fabrics or your choice along with how to attach a lining to your jacket, create oversized pockets and a collar. Learn essential tips and tricks for dressmaking along with how to work with a variety of different materials.
This is the perfect course for anyone wanting to improve their existing skills, so basic knowledge and confidence using a sewing machine is essential. If you are a complete beginner please sign up to my Beginner Machine Sewing course first.
