Join Sewing Teacher & Bag Maker Lauren Holloway from Creative Space Bristol, on this Upcycling Sewing workshop at the Stitching4All show at Bath & West Showground.

Upcycle an old pair of jeans into a useful tote bag! Have you got some old jeans taking up space in a cupboard? Then why not turn them into something useful in this upcycling sewing workshop with local Bag Designer and Maker Lauren Holloway. Lauren will show you how to cut up your jeans to make the most of the material and then, using a pre-made template, cut your lining fabric to size. Lauren will then guide you through the process of making your lined tote bag with strong carry handles. This is a great workshop for anyone wanting to re-use an old item of clothing and improve their sewing skills along the way.

Workshop runs on Saturday 21st September, 1:30pm-4:45pm.

£40 including sewing machine/kit hire and some materials. Students will be required to bring their own pair of jeans. Suitable for beginners or improvers.
